Week 6 of the social netball season at Light Hall School was a sight to behold. The school grounds buzzed with excitement, camaraderie and a welcoming atmosphere as players of all experience levels came together to enjoy an evening of social netball. The spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork was palpable as each team took to the court, demonstrating that sport is not just about winning, but also nurturing friendships, staying active, and mastering the skills of the game.

The first match saw No Direction and Tidbury Tornados sharing the court. The game ended with Tidbury Tornados scoring 24 goals to No Direction's 7. It was an enjoyable match played with high energy, great teamwork and full of positive vibes. Both teams demonstrated their commitment and passion for the game, making it an exciting event for all spectators.

The second match featured Shooting Stars against The Evergreens. The Evergreens concluded the match with a score of 16-12. Emphasising the spirit of the game, both teams exhibited great sportsmanship throughout the match, which was appreciated by all. Their enthusiasm and commitment were inspiring, making for a truly memorable game.

Sparks and Spice Goals were the last to clash. Sparks finished the match with a score of 20-12. It was a game filled with positive energy, with both teams playing in great spirit and demonstrating exceptional teamwork.

A special mention goes to Jess Cutler from Shooting Stars, who was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Jess's enthusiasm, swift movement around the court, and positive attitude were highly appreciated by both her teammates and opponents. Her contribution to the game did not go unnoticed, making her a deserving recipient of the accolade.

As we look ahead to Week 7, we anticipate another enjoyable evening of social netball.
