The fifth week of the season brought another delightful evening of social netball to Light Hall School. As the sun began to set, players of all ages and experience levels congregated on the court, their collective enthusiasm filling the air with a palpable sense of camaraderie. The atmosphere was brimming with anticipation as teams warmed up, their faces lit up by the prospect of a night of great netball.

In the first match of the night, Sparks and The Evergreens played an engaging game that demonstrated the essence of teamwork and sportsmanship. Sparks finished the game with a score of 23-5, but the score line didn't do justice to the positive energy and commitment on display from both sides. Every player on the court played with passion, making it an enjoyable game that was truly reflective of the spirit of social netball.

Similarly, the match between Shooting Stars and Tidbury Tornados was another testament to the sport's vibrant social aspect. The Tornados ended the game with a score of 18-12. The game was played with high spirits and a lot of gusto, the cheers from both sides echoing around the grounds. The respect and camaraderie between the teams was evident throughout the game, as it was played in the true spirit of social netball.

A special mention must be made of the week's Most Valued Player, Sarah Powers from No Direction. Sarah's enthusiasm and movement around the court was a sight to behold. Her positive contribution, both on and off the court, did not go unnoticed, earning her admiration from teammates and opponents alike.
