Last Sunday marked the third week of a spirited season of social netball at Light Hall School. A diverse mix of players, from first-timers to seasoned netballers, gathered under the floodlights for a memorable evening filled with camaraderie, skill, and most importantly, fun.

The first match of evening showcased Spice Goals going head-to-head with Tidbury Tornados. Despite the 20-4 score in favour of Tidbury Tornados, both teams demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship throughout, making the match a pleasure to watch.

The second match of the evening was a friendly contest between The Evergreens and No Direction. Both teams played with great energy, reflecting their commitment to the sport. No Direction finished the game with a score of 11-7, a testament to their teamwork and the positive spirit with which they approached the match.

Sparks and Shooting Stars concluded the evening with a lively game. Sparks demonstrated their strong teamwork, finishing with a score of 19-3. The positive energy from both teams made for an enjoyable game, played in the best spirit of social netball.

A special mention must be made of Natalie Arnold from Spice Goals, this week's Most Valued Player. Natalie's enthusiasm was infectious, and her movement around the court was noted by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the match was greatly appreciated and admired by all.

As we look forward to Week 4, we anticipate another wonderful evening of social netball. These weekly gatherings are more than just about scoring goals and keeping fit; they're about meeting new people, fostering a sense of community, and developing netball skills in an inclusive and supportive environment. We can't wait to see everyone back on the court for another round of friendly competition and camaraderie.
