A delightful evening of camaraderie and sportsmanship unfurled at Light Hall School for the second week of the social netball season. The school buzzed with a welcoming atmosphere, vibrant players of all experience levels and a spirit of friendly competition, making for an exceptional night of netball.
The inaugural match of the evening saw No Direction take on Sparks. The game concluded with No Direction securing a score of 20-16, but not without Sparks putting up a spirited fight. The game was a fantastic spectacle of teamwork, dedication and a lot of positive energy. Both teams exuded an infectious enthusiasm making it a thoroughly enjoyable match.
Shooting Stars and Spice Goals graced the court next. The game ended with Spice Goals ahead with a score of 14-11. Both teams demonstrated a commendable level of commitment and sportsmanship throughout the match. The players' vibrant energy and great spirit made the game a joy to watch.
The last game witnessed an exciting display between Tidbury Tornados and The Evergreens, concluding with the Tornados finishing with a score of 10-6. The game was a testament to the players' dedication and positive energy. It was a pleasure to see such an enjoyable game played in such great spirit.
Special mention must be made of the Most Valued Player of the week, Nina Smith from Sparks. Nina's enthusiasm and tireless movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Her positive contribution was greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, setting a wonderful example of sportsmanship.
As we look ahead to Week 3, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. It's all about keeping active, meeting new people and developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
