Play in the Solihull Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and great netball action at Light Hall School as we welcomed the first week of the season. Players of all experience levels came together in Solihull on Sunday to enjoy a night of social netball. The atmosphere was buzzing with positivity, enthusiasm, and a sense of community, as everyone celebrated the start of the social netball season.

In a high-energy match, Tidbury Tornados and No Direction took to the court. Both teams displayed an incredible commitment to teamwork as they navigated the court. Tidbury Tornados finished the game with an impressive score of 10-7. No Direction, while narrowly missing out on the win, showed great sportsmanship and positive energy throughout the game.

Next up, The Evergreens and Shooting Stars took to the court. Their game was a testament to the spirit in which social netball should be played. The final tally saw The Evergreens with a score of 15-12. Despite the score, Shooting Stars shone with their teamwork and commitment, making it an enjoyable game for all.

The game between Spice Goals and Sparks was filled with fun and good-natured competition. Sparks finished with an applause-worthy score of 27-4. Spice Goals, despite the score, played with great spirit and determination, embodying the heart of social netball.

This week we also had the privilege of recognizing Jess Cutler from Shooting Stars as our Most Valued Player. Her enthusiasm on the court was infectious, and her exceptional movement and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 2, we're excited for another evening of friendly, social netball. It's not just about keeping active, it's about meeting new people, developing netball skills, and enjoying the game we all love in a supportive environment. Whether you're getting back into netball or picking it up for the first time, we can't wait to welcome you onto the court.
