The first match saw Tidbury Tornados and Pocket Rockets giving their best on the netball court. The Tornados completed the game with a score of 26, and Pocket Rockets scored 12. The match was played in great spirit, with both teams exhibiting a strong sense of sportsmanship and a will to learn.
The next match saw The Evergreens and Pink Panthers in a friendly face-off on the court. The match between Spice Goals and Sparks was equally engaging, with Sparks finishing the game with 13 points and Spice Goals showing tremendous resolve to earn 5 points. The commitment and vitality of both teams were palpable, creating an atmosphere that had all spectators engaged.
This week, we want to give a special nod to Aaliah Haddon from the Pink Panthers. Recognised as the Most Valued Player, Aaliah's enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court inspiring, and her positive contribution to the game was appreciated by both her teammates and opponents.
As we look forward to the 19th week, we anticipate another evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and the chance to keep active and meet new people. However, let's not forget that this is the final week of our season. We want to extend a hearty thank you to everyone who has participated this season. We're also very pleased to recognize the Sparks for their exceptional performance this season.
We can't wait to see everyone there for another memorable evening of social netball.
