Solihull Sunday Netball Update 8th March

Another exciting week of netball took place in Solihull on Sunday, with the night delivering a series of competitive and enjoyable matches. Across six games, teams demonstrated great teamwork, determination, and skill on the court.

There were several high-scoring fixtures during the evening. Sparks recorded a 23–4 win against Pink Panthers, producing a confident performance. Pink Panthers continued to work hard throughout the match and will no doubt be looking ahead to their next game.

Solihull Sirens secured a 20–15 victory over Pocket Rockets in a closely contested game. Both teams showed strong effort, with Sirens managing to maintain a steady lead through effective teamwork.

The Roses also enjoyed a positive result, defeating Give Us A Shot 12–5. The match highlighted the Roses’ organised play and their ability to make the most of their opportunities.

The Y Nots faced No Direction in another match where both teams showed plenty of determination. The Y Nots came away with a 20–2 win, with both sides continuing to show great spirit throughout the game.

Tidbury Tornados earned a 16–3 win against Spice Goals in one of the evening’s standout fixtures. Despite the result, Spice Goals’ Stephanie Reaney was named Most Valued Player of the week for her impressive effort and skill on court, demonstrating her importance to the team.

As the league moves into Week 5, the competition continues to build, with teams eager to keep improving and enjoy their time on court. With strong individual performances and great team play across the league, the coming weeks promise more exciting netball in Solihull.
