Week 6 of the Solihull Sunday Netball brought another set of competitive and enjoyable matches, with teams continuing to develop and show their strengths on court.
The Evergreens took on Pocket Rockets, with Pocket Rockets securing a 13–5 win. Both teams showed good effort throughout, but Pocket Rockets were able to take their chances well.
Pink Panthers faced Roses in a well-contested game, with Roses coming away with a 13–8 victory. Despite the result, Pink Panthers had a standout performance from Aaliah Haddon, who was named Most Valued Player for her contribution and work rate across the match.
Tidbury Tornados and Solihull Sirens played out a closely fought game, with Sirens just edging a 10–9 win. It was a tight contest from start to finish, with both sides competing strongly.
Sparks delivered a confident performance against No Direction, earning a 27–11 win through consistent attacking play.
The Y Nots recorded a 21–1 win over Spice Goals, in what was the highest-scoring game of the week. Their teamwork and steady approach helped them build a strong lead. However, the Spice Goals did not give up and kept going until the final whistle.
As the season progresses, teams continue to improve and gain confidence with each match. With plenty of fixtures still to come, there are many opportunities for teams to keep developing and enjoy the competition in the weeks ahead.
