Week 13 of the Solihull Sunday Netball brought another exciting evening of netball, with every team showing fantastic effort, teamwork, and determination on court.
The Y Nots continued their strong run of form with a 16-2 victory over The Evergreens. The Evergreens kept battling throughout the match, while The Y Nots delivered a confident all-round team performance to maintain their momentum.
No Direction also enjoyed a positive result, earning an 11-6 win against Spice Goals in a competitive and well-fought contest. Both teams showed plenty of energy and commitment across the court.
One of the closest games of the evening saw Sparks edge past Tidbury Tornados in a thrilling 12-11 encounter. It was an entertaining match from start to finish, with both teams producing excellent play and pushing each other all the way.
Solihull Sirens secured a hard-earned 10-7 victory over Pink Panthers in another closely contested fixture. Both sides worked tirelessly throughout the game, making for an enjoyable and competitive matchup.
Pocket Rockets and Roses rounded off the evening with a lively high-scoring game, with Pocket Rockets coming away with a 15-11 win after an impressive attacking display from both teams.
A special congratulations goes to Rachel Rooney of Tidbury Tornados, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Rachel’s outstanding effort, skill, and determination stood out in a highly competitive round of fixtures.
With the season continuing to deliver close contests and strong performances across the night, there is plenty of excitement still to come in the Solihull Sunday Netball.
