Derby Sunday Night Netball - Week 3
In an adrenaline-fueled evening of netball action, the Derby Sunday League saw its third week of competition.
The Goaldiggers clashed with the Derby Ducklings, resulting in a pulsating match that saw the Derby Ducklings triumph with a 14-9 victory. The Ducklings showcased their exceptional defensive skills and agility, keeping the Goaldiggers at bay while netting some impressive goals. Elsewhere, Derwent Dames faced off against Pass Perfect in a high-octane match that had spectators on the edge of their seats. Pass Perfect managed to edge out the Derwent Dames with a narrow 12-10 victory. However, it was Derwent Dames' Vicky Powell who stole the show, despite the loss. Demonstrating outstanding skill, Vicky was rightly named this week's most valuable player.
The League has certainly delivered some thrilling netball action this season, and it's clear these teams are leaving nothing on the court. As the season progresses, teams will be eagerly anticipating what's to come in the following weeks.
