Derby Sunday Night Netball - Week 1

The league’s inaugural matches held Sunday night were nothing short of an edge-of-your-seat spectacle.

The Derby Ducklings and Pass Perfect opened the season in a thrilling encounter. Both teams fought valiantly, showcasing their speed, agility, and sharp shooting skills in an electrifying head-to-head battle. While Pass Perfect netted an impressive 10 goals, it was the Derby Ducklings who stole the show with their last-minute victory, scoring 12 goals.

In the second game of the evening, Goaldiggers and Derwent Dames served up another nail-biting clash. The match was a true testament to the spirit of netball, with both teams pushing the limits of their resilience and determination. Despite Goaldiggers putting up a fierce fight, securing 15 goals, it was the Derwent Dames who narrowly edged past with a nail-biting 16 goals.

The season has just begun, and League has already set a high bar. If the inaugural matches are anything to go by, Derby Sunday's Netball League is all set to be one of the best...
