In last night's gripping second week of the Derby Sunday Netball League, the competition was fierce and showcased some truly dazzling athletic performances in the division.

The Derby Ducklings managed a 12 - 3 victory against Derwent Dames, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and tactical prowess. Pass Perfect and Goaldiggers also provided a thrilling spectacle, with Goaldiggers narrowly clinching the game at 7-6.

The Derby Dreamers played their hearts out and managed to edge out the Chatsworth Chicks with a slim single-point margin of 7-6, exemplifying the level of fierce competition the league is known for.

However, one of the most riveting games of the night was between Divas In Derby and One Hit Wonders. The two teams battled it out with outstanding performance but in the end, Divas In Derby eked out victory with a nail biting finish of 9-8.

The most revered performance of the week, and perhaps the season so far, came from none other than Karen Annable of Divas in Derby, who was unanimously voted as the most valued player.

As we move forward into the season, the anticipation is palpable. Each team in the division displayed relentless determination and the will to win. These qualities, combined with the remarkable skill levels observed, promise an exhilarating season ahead.

Who will rise to the challenge in the weeks to come? Only time will tell!
