Derby Sunday Netball League - Week 6

In an edgy turn of events in the 6th week of the Derby Sunday  Netball League, the League teams battled it out on the court, showing spectacular sportsmanship and strategic prowess.

In the League, The Ewes locked horns with the formidable Derby Ducklings. The Ducklings proved too strong for The Ewes, with the final score reading 15 -10 in their favor. Their unyielding defense and rapid-fire scoring kept The Ewes on their toes throughout the game, demonstrating their dominance in the division.

Meanwhile, the One Hit Wonders and Derwent Dames went head to head in a thrilling encounter. Despite a valiant effort by the Dames, the One Hit Wonders emerged victorious with a final score of 14 - 11. Their swift passes and dynamic movement around the court proved to be the game-changer.

Elsewhere, Pass Perfect faced off against Goaldiggers. The Goaldiggers dug deep into their reserves of grit and determination, outscoring Pass Perfect 13 - 10. Their impressive, high-energy performance was a testament to their infectious enthusiasm and talent.

This week's most valued player award went to the spirited Egle Visciulyte of Derwent Dames. Despite her team's result, Visciulyte's exceptional skills and tenacity on the court were noteworthy. Her leadership and consistent performance have been instrumental to the Dames' campaign this season.

As we move into the 7th week of the league, the teams continue their rigorous training, all vying for the top spot in their divisions. The thrilling matches from the past week have set the stage for an electrifying remainder of the season. With the competition heating up, the upcoming fixtures promise plenty of action and excitement.
