Derby Sunday Netball League 9th February
This past Sunday, the first week back of the much-anticipated Derby Sunday League season got underway. The night was filled with sweat, strategy, and some sensational netball.
Opening the matches, Pass Perfect faced off against Derby Ducklings in an electrifying match. Despite a valiant effort from Pass Perfect, Derby Ducklings emerged victorious, sealing an impressive 6-1 victory. The star of the match was undoubtedly Sophie Hatfield from Pass Perfect, who was named the most valued player of the week.
In another match, the audience witnessed a thrilling encounter between One Hit Wonders and Derwent Dames. The One Hit Wonders lived up to their name, delivering a splendid performance, winning 14-8. They now lead the division's scoring board, proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
The final clash of the night saw the Goaldiggers and Divas In Derby battle it out. Despite a commendable effort from the Goaldiggers, it was the Divas who triumphed with a score of 13-6, showcasing their prowess and marking their territory in the League.
