Week 7 of the Derby Sunday Netball league saw riveting matchups in the division that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The thrilling games were characterized by energetic performances, strategic plays, and an impressive display of sportsmanship from all teams.

The Chatsworth Chicks took on the Divas in Derby in a nail-biting match that ended 10-7 in favor of the Chicks. The Divas put up a tenacious fight, but the Chicks' precision and teamwork tipped the scales to their favor.

Meanwhile, the Derby Dreamers lived up to their name by clinching a 13-8 victory over the Derwent Dames. The Dreamers displayed an exciting brand of netball, outperforming the Dames with their swift footwork and accurate shooting. This victory puts the Dreamers in a strong position moving towards the final weeks of the season.

In a similarly tense encounter, Goaldiggers overcame the Derby Ducklings 12-9. Despite the Ducklings' spirited performance, the Goaldiggers' superior ball handling skills and clinical finishing proved decisive.

However, the standout performer of the week was Melissa Birks of Pass Perfect. Birks' outstanding performances throughout the week earned her the most valued player award. 

As we approach the final stretch of the season, these results have set up an exciting lead-up to the grand finale. The division of the Derby Sunday Netball league continues to deliver thrilling netball action week after week.
