Week 2 of the much anticipated Derby Sunday Netball League delivered an adrenaline-packed showdown characterized by tactical prowess, agility, and sheer determination. The riveting performances from the teams demonstrated the vigor and audacity that underpin the spirit of netball in the League.

The netball court was ablaze with fierce competition, with the Derwent Dames and Goaldiggers kicking off the sessions. The match was a nail-biter, with Goaldiggers outmaneuvering Derwent Dames in a slim one-point victory to finish 9-8. The Ducklings demonstrated brilliant gameplay with a final score of 12-6. Michelle Knox of the Derby Ducklings stood out, scooping the Most Valued Player accolade with her exceptional performance. 

The last match of the day saw the One Hit Wonders displaying grit and resilience against Pass Perfect. In a thrilling encounter, One Hit Wonders toppled Pass Perfect by 10-6, showcasing their formidable prowess on the court.

This league is turning out to be a thrilling spectacle, and the top-scoring teams, Derby Ducklings and One Hit Wonders, have set the pace for the rest of the season. With such riveting performances, the League promises more action in the coming weeks.
