In a breathtaking end to the Derby Sunday Netball League season, the Derby Dreamers emerged as triumphant victors in the League. The Dreamers sealed their victory with a 15 to 5 win over Pass Perfect, bringing their season total to an impressive 24 points and 12 wins. This victory marks the pinnacle of a fierce and compelling season for the Dreamers. 

In other matches in the division, the Divas in Derby threw their full weight into a hard-fought 8 to 4 triumph against the Derby Ducklings. Meanwhile, the One Hit Wonders proved they were more than a one-trick pony, outscoring the Goaldiggers with 7 points to 2. The Derwent Dames also held their ground, narrowly defeating the Chatsworth Chicks in a nail-biting 13 to 10 game.

Melissa Birks, from Pass Perfect, stole the show as she was named the league's Most Valued Player, a testament to her consistent, high-caliber performance throughout the season. Despite her team's result, Birks' tenacity and unwavering dedication have left an indelible imprint on the league's spectators and players.

The final week of the Derby Sunday League showcased the best of the players from each team in the division. The high stakes and competitive spirit made for an exciting and unforgettable climax of the season. As we bid farewell to another fantastic season, the anticipation is already building for the next.
