Among the standout performances, Derby Ducklings took an early lead in the League with a victory over Pass Perfect with a score of 7 to 2, staking their claim as a team to watch this season. Meanwhile, a riveting contest between One Hit Wonders and Derwent Dames saw the latter triumph with a score of 15 to 11. This high-scoring, thrilling match kept everyone on edge till the very end, highlighting the competitive spirit and skill level that sets the League apart.

A notable mention goes to the Goaldiggers, who secured a win against Divas In Derby with a score of 8 to 4, marking an impressive start to their campaign.
