In the thrilling spectacle of the Derby Sunday Netball league, week 9 of the season has proven that the League is full of surprises and intense competition.
The match night was kicked off by the Derby Dreamers taking on the Derby Ducklings. The Dreamers put on a brilliant performance with the game concluding with a final score of 13-0.
In the second match, the One Hit Wonders clashed with the Derwent Dames. In a nail-biting showdown, the Dames managed to secure a 12-8 victory.
The third contest between the Divas In Derby and Goaldiggers resulted in a stirring draw of 6-6. Both teams displayed resilience and an unyielding spirit, refusing to concede the game to the other.
The final game of the evening saw the Chatsworth Chicks overpower Pass Perfect with a convincing 8-2 win.
The most valued player of the week was Lydia Johnson from Goaldiggers. Despite the draw, her extraordinary performance was pivotal in securing the tie for her team, proving her worth on the court with stellar ball handling and precise shooting.
