As the sun set on week 3 of the Derby Sunday Netball League, the division gave everyone involved a thrilling display of talent, team spirit, and competitive zeal. With high energy and athletic prowess on display, the scores came in, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.

Derby Dreamers, who took on Derwent Dames, clinched the game with a 12-2 victory. 

In the second game, the Chatsworth Chicks gave the Divas in Derby a tough fight. Despite their relentless effort, the Chicks fell short of a win with a score of 8-11. This game proved to be one of the most nail-biting matches of the evening, sealing the Divas' reputation as formidable adversaries in the league.

One Hit Wonders did justice to their name, beating Pass Perfect 9-5 in an adrenaline-fuelled game. The Goaldiggers too, held their ground against Derby Ducklings, securing a close win with a scoreline of 9-7.

However, perhaps the most notable performance of the night came from Becky Annable of the Derby Ducklings. Despite her team's result, Annable’s exceptional play earned her the title of the Most Valued Player of the week. 

As we move past week 3 of the season, the teams in the division of the Derby Sunday Netball League continue to create an electrifying atmosphere. With each game, the stakes get higher and the competition tougher. We look forward to more thrilling matches and outstanding individual performances as the season progresses.
