In a sensational end to the Derby Sunday Netball league season, the League witnessed some nail-biting action. With the teams battling it out in week 10, the season concluded amidst electrifying competitiveness and sportsmanship. 

The League saw a fierce combat for supremacy. One Hit Wonders clashed against Derby Ducklings, with the latter emerging victorious with a score of 14-10. Jo Poyser, the star player from the One Hit Wonders, delivered an outstanding performance that earned her the title of the most valued player of the week. Despite their result, Poyser's stellar performance left an indelible mark on everyone in the sports hall.

In a gripping encounter, Goaldiggers faced Pass Perfect, resulting in a tight game that ended at 5-3 in favor of Goaldiggers. However, the match that stole the limelight was between Divas In Derby and Derwent Dames. Showcasing a breathtaking display of skill, Divas in Derby claimed victory with a 16-2 scoreline.

After a thrilling season filled with momentous netball, it was Divas In Derby who took the crown in the League. With an impressive total of 16 points and 8 wins. 

The final week of the Derby Sunday Netball league ended on an exhilarating high. We were all left thrilled, the teams were filled with a sense of accomplishment, and the season concluded with a promise of an equally thrilling return. Congratulations to all the teams and here's to the spirit of the game!

The area manager will contact  all teams on Tuesday 22nd April, so all team captains will be expecting a call to discuss games times for the new season starting on Sunday 27th April.
