In an explosive week 8 of the Derby Sunday Netball League, teams battled fiercely, showcasing stunning displays of power, precision and skill that thrilled everyone involved.
The Derwent Dames locked horns with the Divas In Derby, in a game that proved to be as pulsating as it was nail-biting. The Dames showcased their tactics and teamwork, clinching a 5-2 victory over the Divas.
However, the night's most electrifying match was arguably between the Goaldiggers and the Derby Dreamers. In a high scoring, edge-of-the-seat face-off, the Dreamers emerged victorious with a 14-10 win, leaving the Goaldiggers to lick their wounds and regroup for the next round.
Elsewhere, the Derby Ducklings outperformed Pass Perfect with a solid 12-4 victory. Pass Perfect's defence struggled to contain the Ducklings' relentless attack, resulting in a win for the Ducklings.
Meanwhile, the Chatsworth Chicks put on a masterclass in netball, outscoring the One Hit Wonders 15-7. Despite the result, the One Hit Wonders had silver lining in the form of Kelli McRobb, who was named the week's most valued player.
