The electrifying Derby Sunday evening netball league concluded it's final week with riveting matches that witnessed passionate performances from all teams involved.
In an evening full of thrilling netball action, The Pass Perfect unfortunately found themselves on the losing end in a tough match against Derwent Dames, the latter clinching a 7-3 victory. The Bakewell Babes showcased a masterclass performance, outplaying Chatsworth Chicks with a scoreline of 9-2.
However, one of the matches of the evening was between the One Hit Wonders and Derby Ducklings. The Wonders managed to achieve an impressive 13-6 scoreline.
An exceptional performance was seen from Emma Rollerson from the Derby Ducklings, who despite her team's defeat, was named the most valued player of the week. Her outstanding skills and unwavering dedication provided a silver lining for the Ducklings.
The Divas in Derby found it tough against the formidable Derby Dreamers, who were able to win 16-3.
The finale of the league was made even more monumental as the One Hit Wonders clinched the Premier League title, boasting a remarkable total of 21 points and an amazing 10 wins.
As the curtain falls on this exciting season, we look back at the incredible matches, the unforgettable performances, and the true embodiment of sportsmanship we've witnessed over the past 14 weeks.
