Droylsden Thursday Week 7 - 12/3/26

In the heart of Droylsden, the excitement of competitive sport was on full display last night as week seven of the Thursday Premier League Netball fixtures took place. There was a real buzz around the courts, with teams battling it out as the race for the top spot heated up.

The evening kicked off with Zero Chill facing Lionesses. After a hard-fought game packed with tense moments, Lionesses put in a strong performance to secure a 6–1 victory.

Next up, Ctrl Alt Defeat met Get Net Or Die Tryin in what turned out to be one of the standout matches of the night. Both teams showed great determination, but Get Net Or Die Tryin edged ahead to claim a 14–9 win.

The third match saw Kiss My Pass take on Pivot Grigio. Pivot Grigio delivered an impressive performance, combining solid defence with confident attacking play to earn a convincing 14–2 victory.

Rounding off the night, Headliners faced Thunderstruck. Both sides showed plenty of energy and drive, but Headliners finished strongly to take the win 16–8 and bring an exciting evening of netball to a close.

With week eight just around the corner, teams will be eager to build on their performances and keep pushing for the top of the table. The Droylsden Thursday Netball League continues to deliver fast-paced matches and plenty of exciting moments, showing why it’s such a valued part of the local sports scene.
