Play in the Tamworth Sunday you play netball league

The first week of the new social netball season welcomed a delightful evening of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and lively competition at Landau Forte Academy QEMS. The atmosphere was inviting and inclusive, with players of varying experience levels joining from all walks of life. Eager to get back into the exciting world of netball, the teams took to the court, their passion for the sport igniting the chilly autumn evening.

The first match of the evening saw Slamworth face off against Shoot For It. The game was a wonderful demonstration of teamwork and commitment from both sides. Slamworth put on a spirited performance, finishing with a score of 15, whilst Shoot For It displayed impeccable sportsmanship, ending the game with an impressive 24. The air was filled with positive energy, the teams enjoying every moment of the match in the greatest spirit of sportsmanship.

Thrilling the spectators further, Sunday Thunder and No Hope United took over the court next. Sunday Thunder demonstrated a great level of coordination and teamwork, closing the game at a commendable 30. No Hope United, not far behind, showcased remarkable resilience and sportsmanship, ending the game with a well-earned 10. The teams' mutual respect and friendship off-court was apparent and made the game more enjoyable for all.

In the midst of these enjoyable encounters, the Most Valued Player of the week emerged: the talented Donna Mann from Shoot For It. Donna's infectious enthusiasm and dynamic movement around the court were truly admirable, not to mention her positive contribution to the game that was greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 2, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. The focus is on keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment. Whether you're rediscovering your love for the sport or picking up a netball for the first time, you're guaranteed a warm welcome in our community.
