(1) Another delightful evening of social netball took place last week at Landau Forte Academy QEMS. It was Week 10 of the season and the atmosphere was brimming with friendliness and camaraderie. Players of all experience levels took to the court with enthusiasm, proving that the spirit of netball is alive and strong in our community.
(2) Each match was a testament to the essence of team sports. The first match saw Net Into The Groove and Slamworth enjoying the game, with Slamworth finishing the game with a score of 13-4. The game was played with great sportsmanship, highlighting the commitment and positive energy of all players.
Sunday Thunder and Shoot For It showcased their skills in the next game. Sunday Thunder, thriving on a vibrant energy, scored 21 to Shoot For It's 5. Both teams played with great spirit, reminding everyone that it's not just about the score, but the enjoyment of the game.
The Tamagotchis and No Hope United match saw the former team concluding the game with a score of 14 to No Hope United's 7. Despite the score, both teams displayed a wonderful sense of commitment and camaraderie.
In the last match, Nets Get Physical and Nets Go Girls took to the court. Nets Go Girls finished with an impressive 31 to Nets Get Physical's 7. The game was vibrant, with both teams embodying the spirit of netball in every move.
(3) The Most Valued Player of the week was Vicky Freeman from Sunday Thunder. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were nothing short of inspiring. Her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, further amplifying the friendly atmosphere.
