The Tamworth Sunday You Play Netball League got off to a brilliant start this week, with a fun and energetic opening night that set the tone for the season ahead.

All teams came out ready to play, showing great effort, teamwork, and plenty of determination across the court. Tamagotchis made a particularly strong start with a confident performance, while Sunday Thunder also impressed with their fast-paced play and solid teamwork.

Nets Go Girls were another standout team on the night, putting in a really composed performance and showing why they’ll be ones to watch this season. It was also great to see a closely contested match between Shoot For It and No Hope United, which kept everyone engaged right until the final whistle.

A big shoutout goes to Amy Alldridge from Net Into The Groove, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her performance really stood out and showed fantastic effort and resilience throughout the game.

Overall, it was a great first week with lots of positive energy, supportive teammates, and brilliant netball on display. Well done to everyone involved—we’re looking forward to seeing how the season develops over the coming weeks!
