Tamworth Sunday Netball League – Week 3 Round-Up

Week 3 of the Tamworth Sunday You Play Netball League brought another evening of fun, competitive, and action-packed netball. Teams gave it their all on court, creating some exciting matchups and great moments throughout the night.

One of the standout results came from the match between Tamagotchis and Nets Go Girls. Nets Go Girls put in a confident and high-scoring performance, securing a 25–2 win and showing fantastic teamwork and attacking play.

Slamworth also enjoyed a strong outing, taking an 18–9 victory over No Hope United. Both teams played with great energy, but Slamworth’s steady scoring and solid defence helped them take control of the game.

In a closely fought contest, Net 6 Then Chill edged past Nets Get Physical with a 4–2 win. Despite the result, Kay Banks delivered an outstanding performance for Nets Get Physical and was deservedly named Most Valued Player of the week, impressing everyone with her determination and skill.

Week 3 highlighted the growing confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship across the league. Every team continues to develop week by week, making for an enjoyable and welcoming netball environment.

As the season moves forward, there’s plenty more exciting netball to come, with teams pushing themselves and supporting one another on and off the court.
