Play in the Tamworth Sunday You Play Netball League!
Week 9 brought another fantastic evening of netball, with a brilliant atmosphere and plenty of energy on court. The teams continue to impress each week, showing great teamwork, determination and a real love for the game.
Shoot For It and Slamworth got the action underway with a lively contest to kick off the night. Both teams moved the ball well and kept the pace high, setting the tone for an exciting evening of netball.
Sunday Thunder brought plenty of intensity to their game against No Hope United, demonstrating sharp movement and strong communication across the court. In the following match, Tamagotchis faced Net Into The Groove in a spirited encounter, with both sides battling hard and showing great resilience throughout.
Nets Get Physical and Nets Go Girls rounded off the evening with a high-energy showdown. It was a fantastic display of teamwork and confidence, with some excellent passages of play and great encouragement from the sidelines.
A huge congratulations goes to Zoe Connor from Nets Get Physical, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her composure, precision and tireless work rate made a real impact on the game, and she was a standout performer on the night.
What’s been especially great to see is the continued sportsmanship across the league. Every team is giving it their all while supporting one another and creating a welcoming, positive environment.
