Leading the pack in this week's competition were the determined ladies of Nets Go Girls who conquered the court with a resounding 21-11 victory over Net 6 Then Chill. Despite a spirited fight from Net 6 Then Chill, the Nets Go Girls demonstrated their superior strategic play and excellent teamwork, securing their position at the top of the league.

In a neck and neck match that kept all spectators on the edge of their seats, Sunday Thunder edged out Slamworth with a slim margin of 15-12. Every pass and goal was cheered with fervour as both teams showcased their exceptional skills on the court.

However, the highlight of the week was the remarkable performance by Maxine Yates of Nets Get Physical. Yates distinguished herself on the court with her agility, precision, and unwavering focus. Her extraordinary performance earned her the title of Most Valued Player of the week, a well-deserved recognition for her integral role in the success of her team.

As we head into week 3 of the season, the competition is heating up in the League division. The top scorers have set a high bar, and it remains to be seen who will rise to the challenge. Will Nets Go Girls maintain their winning streak? Can Slamworth bounce back from their narrow defeat? And can anyone match the skill and tenacity of Maxine Yates?

Stay tuned for more exhilarating netball action as the Tamworth Sunday Netball League continues. It's clear that no matter what the outcome, these athletes will continue to inspire with their dedication, teamwork, and the sheer joy they bring to the game.
