Play in the Tamworth Monday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

On a delightful evening at Landau Forte Academy Amington, the community came together for Week 6 of our social netball season. Laughter, cheers, and high-fives filled the air, as players of all experience levels celebrated not only points scored, but also their shared love for the sport.

Our first game saw Ball Saints and Disco Divas displaying exceptional sportsmanship and teamwork. The game's energy was infectious, and Ball Saints finished with a score of 12-11, highlighting the close nature of the match.

Next, Warrior Queens and Hippie Chicks took to the court, in an equally enjoyable contest. Each player showed commitment and determination, and the Warrior Queens finished with a score of 12-11, replicating the close-knit nature of our community.

The Warriors and Hoops then took the stage, demonstrating immense positivity on the court. The Warriors finished with a score of 24-14, a testament to their hard work and team cohesion.

The Big B’s and Nets Go Girls followed suit, and the energy between the two teams was palpable. The Nets Go Girls finished with a score of 26-14, showing their improvement over the weeks.

Finally, Smokin Aces and Rowdy Rockets served up a thrilling game. Rowdy Rockets member, Georgie Loveday-cotton, earned the Most Valued Player of the week with her impressive movement around the court, enthusiasm and positive contribution to the game.

As we look ahead to Week 7, we can't wait to see everyone back on the court for another fun-filled evening of friendly social netball. This isn't just about keeping active and developing netball skills, it's about the sense of community, camaraderie, and the friendships formed. As always, whether you're a seasoned player or trying netball for the first time, you'll be welcomed with open arms.
