The first week of a brand-new season of social netball kicked off at Landau Forte Academy Amington and what a joyous evening it was! It was an atmosphere filled with camaraderie and excitement as players of all levels came together to enjoy a fantastic night of netball. As the sun set, the court came alive with laughter, cheers, and the unmistakable sound of a great game.

Match Descriptions:
The evening started with an energetic match between Warrior Queens and Ball Saints. The game finished with Ball Saints scoring 18 points to Warrior Queens' 8. Both teams displayed tremendous teamwork and sportsmanship, resulting in a match that was played in great spirit and enjoyed by all.

Next up were The Warriors and Disco Divas, with Disco Divas finishing the match with a score of 22 to The Warriors' 11. The game was a testament to the commitment of both teams, and their positive energy was contagious.

The Big B`s and Hippie Chicks then took to the court, with Hippie Chicks scoring 19 to The Big B`s 12. The game was played in a friendly, lively atmosphere, and the commitment and sportsmanship of both teams were commendable.

Smokin Aces and Hoops provided another thrilling game, with Smokin Aces finishing on 16, and Hoops just behind on 15. Both teams showcased their netball skills and sportsmanship, making it an enthralling game to watch.

The evening concluded with an enjoyable game between Rowdy Rockets and Nets Go Girls, with Rowdy Rockets scoring 21 to Nets Go Girls' 9. It was a game full of positive energy, teamwork, and fun.

Special Mention:
A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Helen Peacock from The Big B`s. Helen demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and movement around the court. Her positive contribution was greatly appreciated by both her teammates and opponents.

Closing:
As we look forward to the next evening of friendly social netball in Week 2, we are excited to see everyone back on the court, keeping active, meeting new people, and further developing their netball skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. This social netball season has just started, and we warmly welcome all players, whether they're seasoned pros or picking up a netball for the first time in years.
