What a wonderful and enjoyable evening it was at Landau Forte Academy Amington, as Week 16 of social netball unfolded amid cheers and laughter! Our community welcomed players of all experience levels, creating an encouraging and vibrant atmosphere. There was plenty of camaraderie, with teams and spectators alike revelling in the spirit of the game.

Our first match saw Ball Saints and Hippie Chicks take to the court. Ball Saints finished the game with a score of 21 to Hippie Chicks' 11. Despite the scoreline, both teams displayed commendable teamwork and energy throughout.

Then came Disco Divas and Hoops. The Disco Divas concluded the match with 25 points to Hoops' 2. It was a game played in superb spirit, with both teams showing immense commitment and sportsmanship.

Warrior Queens and Nets Go Girls followed next. Warrior Queens secured a close win with a score of 10-8. The positive energy on the court was palpable, and both teams enjoyed every moment of the game.

The Warriors and Rowdy Rockets brought their own spark to the evening. The Warriors ended on 23 points, while Rowdy Rockets scored 19. Their enjoyable game was marked by a great spirit of play and teamwork.

The final game featured The Big B's and Smokin Aces. Smokin Aces completed the game with an impressive 30 points to The Big B's 7. All players demonstrated a brilliant display of netball skills, backed by a supportive crowd.

A special mention must be made for our Most Valued Player of the week, Maddie Tudor from Hippie Chicks. Her enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution did not go unnoticed, appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

We're looking ahead with excitement to Week 17 and another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active, but also about meeting new people and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment.

With just two weeks of matches left, now is the perfect time for anyone thinking about joining us. Come along and try social netball – you'll find it's not only a great way to stay active, but also a wonderful way to make new friends in our warm and welcoming community!
