Hello there, Netball Enthusiasts!

What a delightful evening Week 14 brought us at Landau Forte Academy Amington, where camaraderie, laughter, and the sweet sound of netballs swooshing through the hoop filled the air! It was a night that beautifully encapsulated the ethos of our beloved social netball – fun, friendly, and inclusive.

First up, we had Disco Divas playing against Ball Saints in a game that was truly a spectacle of teamwork. Each pass, each shout of encouragement, each high five was a testament to the spirit of the game. Disco Divas wrapped up the match with a score of 19-13, their energy, and unity setting the tone for the evening.

Next, Hippie Chicks took on the Warrior Queens in a match that showcased their commitment to the game. Warrior Queens, with their swift movements and strategic plays, concluded the game at 14-9. The evening continued with Hoops and The Warriors demonstrating sportsmanship at its finest. The Warriors ended up with an impressive score of 26-5, their positive energy was truly commendable.

Nets Go Girls and The Big B’s played an enthralling match next, Nets Go Girls finishing strong at 11-6. Their joy in playing was palpable as was the respect they had for their opponents. We rounded up the night with Rowdy Rockets and Smokin Aces. The Smokin Aces ended the match on a high note, scoring 19-5, but what stood out was the incredible spirit both teams displayed on the court.

This week, our Most Valued Player accolade goes to Rachael Starkey from The Big B’s. Her enthusiasm and movements around the court were a joy to watch. Rachael's positive contribution was not only appreciated by her teammates but also by her opponents, which is a testament to her sportsmanship.

As we look ahead to Week 15, we're excited to see the same friendly faces and hopefully some new ones too! Let's continue to keep active, meet new people, and develop our netball skills in the most supportive environment. Remember, at the end of the day, it's not about the score, it's about the love for the game. So, let’s gear up for another uplifting evening of social netball next week.
