Last night marked the ninth week of the highly competitive Tamworth Monday Netball League, and the athletes of the League delivered a memorable round of matches.

Starting off the night was a fiercely competitive match between Hoops and Smokin Aces. Despite Hoops' spirited performance, Smokin Aces dominated the game with a confident 22-12 win, showcasing an impressive display of skill and tenacity.

Warrior Queens and The Big B’s tussled ferociously on the court. The Big B’s emerged the victors with a 14-9 win. Their continuous drive and sharp shooting were the highlights of the game.

In a gripping match, Ball Saints put up a valiant fight against The Warriors, falling just short with a 16-14 score. This game was an exciting display of the high-level netball that the Premier League has become known for.

Nets Go Girls and Rowdy Rockets squared off in a low-scoring, but highly strategic match, with Nets Go Girls clinching the game 7-3.

The evening's most significant victory went to Blue Lightning, who stormed past Hippie Chicks with a whopping 30-8 score. This game saw the highest scoring act of the night and set a new precedent for the league.

The week's standout player was undoubtedly Nicola Taylor from The Warriors. Showcasing an impressive array of skills, Taylor was chosen as the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional performance was a key factor in The Warriors' victory, further establishing her as a true asset to her team.
