Week 12 of the Tamworth Monday Netball League brought another evening of exciting netball, with teams continuing to demonstrate their commitment, teamwork, and competitive spirit as the season moves towards its closing stages. With every point becoming increasingly important, players left everything on the court in a series of entertaining and hard-fought matches.
Ball Saints produced an excellent team performance against Hippie Chicks, showcasing strong communication, sharp movement, and great teamwork throughout the match. Hippie Chicks continued to battle hard and displayed plenty of determination, competing until the final whistle and creating some positive moments of their own.
Disco Divas were also in impressive form, delivering a confident display built on strong defensive work and effective attacking play. Their teamwork and understanding across the court were evident throughout the game, helping them put together one of their strongest performances of the season so far.
Warrior Queens and Nets Go Girls treated spectators to one of the most competitive matches of the evening. Both teams played with great intensity and commitment, producing an entertaining contest filled with excellent passages of play. The match highlighted the quality of netball being played across the league and the determination of teams as they continue to push for valuable points.
Warriors enjoyed another successful evening with a strong all-round team performance against Rowdy Rockets. Their movement, passing, and teamwork helped them maintain momentum throughout the game, while Rowdy Rockets continued to show resilience and a positive attitude despite a challenging fixture.
Smokin Aces rounded off the evening with an impressive display against The Big B's. Their organised approach and consistency across the court helped them secure a well-earned result, while The Big B's continued to work hard and support one another throughout the match.
A special congratulations goes to Sian Feldhahn of Ball Saints, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Week. Sian delivered an outstanding performance and played a key role in her team's success. Her energy, skill, and influence on the court made her a deserving winner of this week's award.
The league would also like to thank all of our umpires for their continued dedication and support. Their role is essential in ensuring matches are played fairly, safely, and in the right spirit. We kindly remind all players and supporters to continue showing respect towards officials at all times. Creating a positive and supportive environment helps ensure everyone can enjoy their netball and contributes to the fantastic atmosphere seen across the league each week.
With only a few weeks remaining in the season, the competition continues to intensify as teams look to finish strongly. Week 12 provided another great showcase of the talent, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm within the league, and there is no doubt that the remaining fixtures will bring even more exciting action.
