The charming King Henry VIII 3-19 School was abuzz with energy last week as netball enthusiasts gathered for an enjoyable evening of social netball. It was Week 3 of the season and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with players of various skill levels uniting for a delightful evening filled with camaraderie and spirited play.

The first match of the evening between the 'Unstoppables' and Headliners was a strong display of teamwork and sportsmanship. Unstoppables led the game with a final score of 10-4. Both teams demonstrated commendable commitment and positive energy on the court; it was indeed an enjoyable game played in high spirits.

The second match showcased the vitality of The Net-Works and Welsh Rarebits, where the Welsh Rarebits finished with a victory of 17-5. Despite the score difference, the spirit of the game was far from competitive - the teams were more focused on having fun and supporting each other in an atmosphere of encouraging competition.

A special mention goes to Jackie Batkin from Netty McNet Face who was crowned the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court was agile, and the positive energy she brought was appreciated by both her teammates and opponents. Her contribution exemplified the true essence of what Back to Netball symbolises.

As we head into Week 4, we look forward to another delightful evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about the game, but about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. So, here's to another week of spirited play, new friendships, and the shared love of netball. We hope to see everyone there, ready to embrace the fun of the game!
