Abergavenny Thursday Week 2 - 26/3/26

In the second week of the exciting Abergavenny Thursday Netball League, the matches played were nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the high level of skill and determination displayed by all teams involved.

The clash between The Net-Works and Welsh Rarebits ended with a victory for the Rarebits, who won with a score of 10-6. Despite an admirable display put up by The Net-Works, the Rarebits showcased their tactical prowess and team synergy to secure their win.

In another heart-stopping encounter, Headliners and Unstoppables locked horns and, true to their name, the Unstoppables refused to be defeated. The game ended in a thrilling 9-9 draw, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. The unity and drive displayed by both teams were commendable, proving that they are both top contenders in the league.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly Unstoppables' Laura Draper. Her sensational performance earned her the title of the most valued player of the week. Draper demonstrated exceptional agility and accuracy, contributing significantly to her team's impressive performance. Her dedication and skills were evident on the court, making her a worthy recipient of the accolade.
