Birmingham Wednesday Social Netball update 6th August
The city of Birmingham was set ablaze last night, not by fire, but by the electrifying energy of the first week of the social Netball league in Birmingham on Wednesday. The Premier League, the marquee division of the tournament, showcased some breathtaking performances, setting the stage for the exciting season ahead.
Riding high on the wave of this energy, team Spice Goals made their mark on the tournament with a commanding 23-10 victory over See You Nets Wednesday. This thrilling victory was fueled in no small part by a standout performance from Leah Douglas. Her exceptional skill and relentless determination earned her the most valued player of the week.
Next up, Chafing Dreams took the court and claimed a decisive 6-2 triumph over She's A Keeper. Despite a spirited fight back from She's A Keeper, Chafing Dreams held their nerve to secure the win.
In another match, Rednal Roses put on quite a show, demonstrating incredible team play and strategy. They showed no mercy to Ballin Baddies, defeating them with a 25-3 scoreline.
Finally, team Purple Reign and Rogue Angels battled it out in a tussle that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Despite a valiant effort, Rogue Angels fell short to Purple Reign, who claimed victory with a score of 22-11.
