In the heart of Birmingham, under the sparkling floodlights of King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls, Week 2 of our friendly social netball season had an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm and camaraderie. Players of all experience levels came together for yet another enjoyable evening filled with exciting matches, shared laughter, and a celebration of sportsmanship.

The first match of the evening saw Spice Goals and Rednal Roses share the court. Spice Goals finished the game with a score of 21 to Rednal Roses' 12. The match showcased some wonderful teamwork from both sides, with players encouraging each other and making the game a joy to watch.

Next up, Goal Diggers played against Game Of Throws, with Goal Diggers concluding the game with a score of 23-5. Undeterred by the score, Game Of Throws showed immense commitment and kept the positive energy flowing throughout the match.

Chafing Dreams and Pocket Rockets then took to the court, with Chafing Dreams finishing the game on top 13 to 8. The highlight of this match was the spirit in which it was played, with both teams demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship.

The last match of the evening saw Ballin Baddies play against Incredi-balls. Ballin Baddies completed the game with a score of 22-7. Despite the score, Incredi-balls kept their heads high, making it an exhilarating game of netball.

A special mention must go to our Most Valued Player of the week, Grace Burgess from Game Of Throws. Grace’s enthusiasm and movement around the court, along with her positive contribution, was truly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate Week 3 of our friendly social netball season. We extend a warm invitation to all to join us for another wonderful evening of keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
