Play in the Birmingham Wednesday You Play Netball Social League

As the setting sun painted the sky a picturesque orange, King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls witnessed yet another delightful evening of social netball in Week 13 of the season. The court buzzed with warmth and camaraderie, as players of varying skill levels came together, participated and cherished the joy of the sport.

The Rednal Roses and Game Of Throws started the evening off, setting the tone with a brilliant display of teamwork and sportsmanship. The game ended with Game Of Throws securing 16 goals, while Rednal Roses followed closely with 14. Both teams exhibited an infectious positive energy and a commendable commitment to the game.

Ballin Baddies and Pocket Rockets were the next to take the spotlight. The Pocket Rockets completed the game with a tally of 24 against Ballin Baddies’ 16. The game was an enjoyable mix of strategizing, individual accomplishments and collective team spirit.

Spice Goals and Incredi-balls also gave the spectators a memorable showdown. Spice Goals concluded the game with 24 goals, leaving behind Incredi-balls with 11. The teams made the game a spectacle of sportsmanship, with both contributing to an atmosphere of fun-filled competition.

The last game of the evening saw Chafing Dreams engage with Goal Diggers. Goal Diggers finished with 12 goals to 3. The match reflected the essence of the evening - fun, friendly competition and a great spirit of the game.

A special mention must be made of the Most Valued Player of the week, Lily Green from Rednal Roses. Lily demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and agility on the court, her movement and positive contribution cherished by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 14, we eagerly anticipate another fun-filled evening of social netball.
