Play in the Birmingham Wednesday You Play Netball Social League

With the sun setting over the King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls, the 12th week of social netball in Birmingham brought an evening full of laughter, camaraderie, and impressive teamwork on the court. As the week marked a welcoming atmosphere, players of all experience levels basked in the joy of the sport, creating memories and developing skills, regardless of the scores on the board.

In the Premier League Group, the evening kicked off with an energetic game between Rednal Roses and Goal Diggers. The game ended with a score of 19-5, in favor of Goal Diggers. Both teams showcased commendable sportsmanship, and their commitment to teamwork made it a thoroughly enjoyable and spirited game.

Following this, Pocket Rockets and Incredi-balls took to the court. Pocket Rockets finished the game with a score of 21-6. Throughout the match, the friendly rivalry was apparent, and the positive energy radiating from both teams was contagious.

Ballin Baddies and Game Of Throws were next, ending the game with a score of 23-11, with Ballin Baddies taking the lead. The game was played in high spirit, highlighting the essence of social netball - teamwork, commitment, and fun.

Spice Goals and Chafing Dreams concluded the evening with a score of 14-1, favoring Spice Goals. The game demonstrated the spirit of netball, where every player gave their best, and the score was a mere number compared to the enjoyment derived from the game.

A special mention goes out to our Most Valued Player of the week, Danielle Swann from Rednal Roses. Danielle's enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike. Her spirit truly embodied the essence of social netball.
