The 8th week of the social netball season at King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls brought with it an enjoyable evening, brimming with energy, enthusiasm, and the spirit of friendly competition. The school's netball courts were filled with players of all experience levels coming together under the soft glow of the evening lights, all of them sharing a common love for the game.
In the Premier League group, the first match saw Game Of Throws and Goal Diggers sharing the court. Goal Diggers finished the game with a score of 26-5. Both teams displayed admirable teamwork and commitment, turning the match into an uplifting spectacle of sportsmanship.
The second match featured Incredi-balls and Ballin Baddies, with Ballin Baddies wrapping up the match at 17-4. The energy on the court was palpable as both teams played with positivity and spirited determination.
Pocket Rockets and Chafing Dreams played the next game, ending at 12-6 in favor of the Pocket Rockets. The game was played in great spirit, showcasing the friendly essence of netball.
Rednal Roses and Spice Goals wrapped up the evening, with Spice Goals concluding their match with a score of 21-6. Both teams showcased stellar sportsmanship, making the game an enjoyable experience for all.
A special mention must be given to Molly Green from Rednal Roses, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiastic approach to the game, impressive movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
