Birmingham Wednesday Social Netball news 2026-07-15
On a crisp Wednesday evening at King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls, Week 7 of our social netball season came to life in a spectacular fashion. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy and camaraderie as players, from beginners to seasoned pros, turned up to partake in another delightful evening of netball.
The first match of the Premier League saw Ballin Baddies and Spice Goals face off. The game ended with an even score, a testament to the balanced play and commitment from both teams. Both teams displayed commendable sportsmanship and teamwork, creating a vibrant and positive energy on the court.
Our second thrilling match-up was between Chafing Dreams and Rednal Roses. The game was an absolute joy to watch as both teams showcased their netball skills while keeping the spirit of the game alive. The game ended in a draw, and both teams were all smiles, appreciative of the friendly competition.
Next up was an exciting game between the Goal Diggers and the Pocket Rockets. The evenly matched teams filled the court with their enthusiasm and dedication to the game, resulting in a well-deserved draw.
Lastly, our Incredi-balls went head-to-head with Game Of Throws. The game was a beautiful showcase of sportsmanship, teamwork and positive energy, ending in a well-fought draw.
A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the evening. Their outstanding display of enthusiasm, dynamic movement across the court, and positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Their passion for the game was infectious, inspiring everyone present.
