The familiar buzz of camaraderie and sportsmanship filled the air on a balmy Wednesday evening at King Edwards VI Northfield School for Girls. Week 6 of the social netball season unfolded with a delightful mix of seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers, all coming together for a great night of netball.
The first match saw the Incredi-balls and the Pocket Rockets teaming up. The game ended in a tight scoreline with Incredi-balls coming out on top with a score of 12-9. The game was a fantastic demonstration of teamwork and commitment, full of positive energy and sporting spirit from both teams.
Next up, the Game Of Throws and the Ballin Baddies took to the court. It was an equally matched game that ended in a 13-13 tie. The evenly matched scores were a testament to the sportsmanship and balanced skills from both teams.
In another match, the Goal Diggers and Rednal Roses shared the court. It concluded with Goal Diggers on the upper end of a 12-6 scoreline. The game was played in great spirit, with every player cheering each other on regardless of the final score.
Chafing Dreams played Spice Goals in the concluding match of the evening, which ended with Spice Goals on top with a score of 23-6. The players from both teams showed their love for the game, with their commitment and sportsmanship shining through.
The Most Valued Player of the week goes to Rebecca Pearce from Rednal Roses. Her enthusiasm and smart movement around the court were noticeable, and her positive contribution was deeply appreciated by both her teammates and opponents.
