Birmingham Wednesday Social Netball news 2026-07-01

Play in the Birmingham Wednesday You Play Netball League

Another fantastic evening of social netball took place at King Edward VI Northfield School for Girls as we reached Week 5 of the season. It was great to see players of all experience levels enjoying another fun night on court, with plenty of encouragement, teamwork and smiles all around.

The first match of the evening saw Spice Goals take on Goal Diggers, with Spice Goals finishing the game 17-13.

Next up, Ballin Baddies faced Chafing Dreams, with Ballin Baddies securing a 19-5 win.

The final game of the evening saw Pocket Rockets take on Game Of Throws, with Game Of Throws finishing the match 13-9.

A huge congratulations goes to this week's Most Valued Player, Rebecca Pearce from Rednal Roses. Rebecca's enthusiasm, effort and positive attitude on court made her a well-deserved winner.

As we look ahead to Week 6, we're looking forward to another enjoyable evening of social netball. Thank you to everyone who continues to make the league such a friendly and welcoming place to play. Whether you're returning to netball or playing every week, it's great to see everyone supporting one another and enjoying the game.

We can't wait to see you all back on court next Wednesday!
