Birmingham Wednesday Football League – Weekly Round-Up
It was another great evening of football in Birmingham, with teams taking to the pitch for week 6 of the Wednesday league. The night was full of energy, teamwork and plenty of support from players on and off the pitch.
Ballin Baddies and Chafing Dreams shared an enjoyable game, with Ballin Baddies putting together some strong passages of play to finish 12–6. Both teams showed great effort and kept the game flowing throughout.
Spice Goals had a positive match against Goal Diggers, finding their rhythm and working well as a team to finish 26–6. It was great to see some excellent movement and teamwork on display.
Pocket Rockets and Game Of Throws also played out a really good contest, with Pocket Rockets finishing 13–8. Both teams brought great energy and made it an enjoyable game to watch.
This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Lily Green from Rednal Roses, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort, awareness and overall impact on the game really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.
It’s brilliant to see everyone enjoying their football each week and creating such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With more games still to come, we’re looking forward to plenty more fun evenings ahead.
