Week 3 of the Birmingham Wednesday league brought another great evening of netball, with plenty of goals, positive energy and brilliant teamwork on show.

One of the standout games of the night saw Rednal Roses and Ballin Baddies share the points in an exciting 12–12 draw. It was a closely matched game throughout, with both teams showing great determination and encouraging each other right to the final whistle.

Pocket Rockets faced Spice Goals in another lively fixture. Despite a strong performance from Amber Sandhu, who was named Player of the Week for her fantastic effort and attitude, Spice Goals came away with a 20–8 win. Amber’s commitment and work rate really stood out on the night.

Chafing Dreams enjoyed a solid 13–2 result against Nothing But Net, while Goal Diggers and Incredi-balls played out a competitive match that finished 13–10 to Goal Diggers. Both teams showed great spirit and teamwork in a closely contested game.

It’s been brilliant to see the positive atmosphere growing each week, with teams enjoying their netball and supporting one another on and off the court. We’re looking forward to more fun, goals and great moments as the season continues.
