What a wonderful, energy-filled evening of social netball we all experienced last Monday at Kineton High School! Yes, it was Week 4 of the season, and the atmosphere was as welcoming as ever. From seasoned players to the most recent of beginners, everyone joined together to revel in a fantastic night of netball, rich in camaraderie and sportsmanship.
Our first friendly match saw the spirited Kineton Angels sharing smiles and high-fives with the Kineton Ladies. The game flowed with an infectious positive energy, ending in a harmonious balance with a 13-13 score. It was a testament to the Angels and Ladies' commitment to the game and the spirit of friendly competition.
Next up, the Hoop Hustlers took the court against Time To Shine. Despite the 13-5 finish in favour of the Hoop Hustlers, the game was characterized by unwavering teamwork from both sides that was truly admirable. Every pass, every shot, was played with a 'we're-in-this-together' sentiment that encapsulates what social netball is all about.
And finally, Kineton Stars faced off against the Netball Ninjas in a match that exemplified the best of netball sportsmanship. With a 21-17 score concluding the game, it was clear that the joy of the game was as important as the result. It was an enjoyable game indeed!
A special mention to our Most Valued Player of the week, Lucy Parker from the Hoop Hustlers. Lucy’s enthusiasm and movement around the court were truly impressive! She made a positive contribution to the match, appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
Looking towards next week, we are all excited for Week 5 and another evening of friendly social netball. It's a chance to keep active, meet new people, and continue developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. So, ladies, lace up those trainers and join us for another fun-filled evening, where everyone’s a winner when you're back to netball!
