Last Monday evening, Kineton High School saw the energetic start of the social netball season with an evening that was nothing short of fantastic. The courts buzzed with enthusiastic players of all experience levels, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. It was indeed Week 1 of a season that promises friendly competition and camaraderie, with everyone looking forward to a heart-warming and healthy journey of netball.

The first match, featuring the Netball Ninjas and the Hoop Hustlers, was a testament to teamwork and mutual respect. The Ninjas ended the game with a score of 18-9, demonstrating their commitment and positive energy. The Hoop Hustlers too, showed great sportsmanship, making it an enjoyable game played in high spirits.

Next up were the Kineton Angels and Time To Shine, with the former scoring 21-3. Both teams exhibited an infectious enthusiasm and a strong bond, adding to the fun-filled atmosphere of the evening.

Following this, the Kineton Ladies and Kineton Stars took to the court. With a final score of 15-6 in favor of the Kineton Ladies, the game was a wonderful display of determination and team spirit. Both teams left all out on the court, smiling at the end of the game, embodying the spirit of social netball.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the night, who stood out with her contagious enthusiasm and sharp movement around the court. Her positive contribution was very much appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, reinforcing the sense of community that this social netball season embodies.
